Who am I
Joanna Dreher Consulting collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. This is regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union including the United Kingdom and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control.
The personal information we collect and use
I may collect your name, address, phone number and email address along with information of a personal nature that is relevant to our work together.
How we use your personal information
We use your name and email address to communicate with you during our work together. We may use the information of a personal nature that you have provided us with (and which is relevant to our work together) to aid the counselling, coaching, consultancy, and training services I offer you.
Who I share your personal information with
In line with the general confidentiality and privacy of my work, no information will be shared with other people. In exceptional ethical or legal circumstances (for example where your safety of that of others may be at risk) it may be necessary to give information to relevant authorities.
In such situations, unless there are contraindications, you will be informed, and the circumstances will be discussed fully.
I will not share your personal information with any other third parties.
I will only share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law.
How long your personal data will be kept
I will erase any information and notes 7 years after the end of our work together (Contract and Civil Law Statute of Limitation requires they be kept for this time).
Reasons we can collect and use your personal information. I rely on Your Consent (that you have given clear consent for us to process your personal data for a specific purpose) as the lawful basis on which I collect and use your personal data.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of important rights free of charge. In summary, those include rights to:
· fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your use personal information
· access to your personal information and to certain other supplementary information that this Privacy Notice is already designed to address
· require me to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold
· require the erasure of personal information concerning you in certain situations
· receive the personal information concerning you which you have provided to me, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to a third party in certain situations
· object at any time to processing of personal information concerning you for direct marketing
· object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you
· object in certain other situations to my continued processing of your personal information
· otherwise restrict my processing of your personal information in certain circumstances

Keeping your personal information secure
In order to comply with the new GPDR regulations your contact details and any notes are kept solely for the purposes of our therapeutic/coaching /training work together. These notes may be manual documents kept in a secure place or electronic documents (including emails) kept securely on a password protected computer or encrypted cloud-based system.
How to complain
I hope that we can resolve any query or concern you raise about my use of your information.
The General Data Protection Regulation also gives you right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the European Union (or European Economic Area) state where you work, normally live or where any alleged infringement of data protection laws occurred.
